PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marek Zegarek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juninho Ferrara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ferrara has chosen Mat Zo - The Found as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Juninho Ferrara was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ferrara clinches up against the cage.

Ferrara breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Zegarek fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ferrara, pushing him back against the cage.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Ferrara is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Zegarek is aware though and is defending well.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ferrara explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Zegarek moves into the clinch.
Zegarek is trying to break the clinch but Ferrara has him pressed against the cage.
Zegarek tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Zegarek obliges.
Zegarek has had enough of the clinch but Ferrara keeps him there for the moment.

Zegarek throws out a leg kick but Ferrara moves out of range and Zegarek only half commits.

Ferrara is trying to trip Zegarek. He has hold of a leg but Zegarek is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Ferrara persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
