Zamorano has chosen The Cat Empire - Lost Song as his entrance music. Mike Zamorano is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Del Angel closes the distance and clinches.
Del Angel tries to pull guard but Zamorano forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Del Angel has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Zamorano clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Del Angel is riding his opponent, not letting Zamorano buck him off.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Del Angel doesn't have the hooks in and Zamorano manages to turn into his guard.
Zamorano wanted to stand there but Del Angel had control of the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Diego Del Angel wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Zamorano scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Zamorano jabs Del Angel to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Zamorano connects with a good right hand that stumbles Del Angel. Del Angel circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Zamorano moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Zamorano scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Del Angel doesn't seem bothered though.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Del Angel tries to pull guard but Zamorano holds him up against the cage and eventually Del Angel drops back down to his feet.
Del Angel changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Zamorano fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Zamorano fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Del Angel.

Del Angel closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Zamorano's guard.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Mike Zamorano wasn't active enough on the ground.

Zamorano jabs Del Angel right on the nose. Del Angel blinks but takes it well.
Zamorano cracks Del Angel with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Zamorano lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Zamorano works over Del Angel's head and body with a nice combination.

Zamorano lands with a slapping head kick.
Oh Del Angel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Zamorano scores with a nice strike.
Del Angel walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Del Angel closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Zamorano is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Zamorano counters with an inside leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mike Zamorano showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Del Angel looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Well,Del Angel is on his way to losing a decision here. Can he use his experience to pull something off in the closing minutes?

Del Angel walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Zamorano sizes up Del Angel with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Del Angel seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
