Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sierra Catherman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Gener (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Catherman kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Welcome to the Jungle. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Catherman moves into range and clinches up with Gener.
Catherman escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gener shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Catherman as he jumps to the side.
Catherman pushes Gener up against the cage in a clinch.
Gener looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Catherman is looking to control Gener's arms but Gener gets an underhook and turns him. Now Catherman has his back to the cage.
Gener is looking to break free of the clinch but Catherman has double underhooks.
Gener is trying to break the clinch but Catherman is controlling him.
Gener is trying to force a seperation but Catherman has the dominant position.
Gener has had enough of the clinch but Catherman keeps him there for the moment.
Catherman tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Gener avoids it.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Catherman has gone for a leg lock! Gener slips out almost immediately though and dives into Catherman's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gener is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Catherman is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Catherman has escaped and now he's on top!

Catherman looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gener wants to control the action here but instead Catherman manages to pass to full mount!
Catherman looking to control but Gener is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Catherman landing punches.
Catherman can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gener is looking to escape.
Catherman jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Gener manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Catherman wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Gener, who protects the arm well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
A right-left combo lands from Gener.
Catherman connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Gener to the floor! Catherman dives in looking for the finish!
It looks like Andrew Gener has been cut.
Catherman is trying to control the action in half guard but Gener is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Catherman is looking for a kimura but Gener is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Catherman to get the leverage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gener wants to stand back up but Catherman manages to pass into side control.
Catherman gets to mount! Gener was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Catherman looking for a guillotine from mount but Gener is having none of it.
Catherman has control of Gener's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Gener regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Catherman shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Catherman was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Catherman won't let Gener get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Catherman has hold of Gener's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Gener manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Catherman is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Gener can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Catherman cracks Gener with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's time! Catherman's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Gener is staying active underneath Catherman, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Catherman creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Gener throws Catherman to one side and escapes!
Catherman plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Catherman slips a straight right by Gener.
Gener chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Catherman can pounce on him.
Gener takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A punch combination from Catherman misses.
Catherman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gener but Gener pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Horrible takedown by Gener or perhaps it was just good defense by Catherman which made him look bad.
Gener throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Catherman's waist but Catherman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gener off to one side.
Sierra Catherman is winning the standup battle so far.
Catherman looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Catherman looks for a takedown but Gener sprawls well.
Gener misses with the combination.
Gener gets caught flat footed, as Catherman shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Gener tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Catherman has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Catherman takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Well Catherman has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
