The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Diaz. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Arca connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Diaz's hands.
Diaz tries to close the distance and clinch but Arca swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Arca lands with a nice body punch.
The crowd cheers as Arca lands an impressive looking overhand right. Diaz doesn't seem phased though.

Arca stalks Diaz and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Diaz's face. Diaz staggers backwards, shaken.

Arca connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Diaz takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.


Diaz is rocked!
Arca comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Arca lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Diaz at a distance.
Arca connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Diaz momentarily.
Arca scores with a decent looking hook.
Oh Diaz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Arca lands with a shot to the body.
Arca connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Diaz tumbling to the canvas! Arca pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Diaz was done - good stoppage!
