Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pappy Shrew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiro Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shrew comes to the cage accompanied by In The Morning. On his way into the cage it seems that Pappy Shrew has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Pappy Shrew seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aoki throws the left hand but Shrew avoids the punch easily.
Shrew steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Aoki.
Nice uppercut there from Aoki.
Hiro Aoki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shrew throws a hook but Aoki blocks it.

Aoki throws a left and a right that both miss
and Shrew counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Aoki tries to clinch there but Shrew circles away.
Aoki doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Shrew counters with a right hand to the body.
Shrew looks to land a combination but Aoki avoids it well.

Aoki misses with a hook. Shrew ducked under it nicely.
Shrew slips a jab from Aoki.
Aoki throws a low kick but Shrew avoids it.
Shrew swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Shrew fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Aoki looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Aoki connects with an inside leg kick.
Shrew thuds a left hand into Aoki's body.

Shrew moves out of range of the leg kick from Aoki.

Shrew closes the distance and pushes Aoki back into the cage.
Aoki lands an elbow inside that Shrew shrugs off.
A nice right hand lands inside from Shrew.
Shrew misses with the head strike.
Shrew avoids a wild elbow strike from Aoki.
Aoki lands a nice elbow.
Shrew swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Aoki blocks an uppercut.
Shrew tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Aoki throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Shrew throws a head punch that misses.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Shrew.
Shrew lands a hook that snaps the head of Aoki backwards.
Aoki takes a shot to the head.
Shrew blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Aoki drops down looking for an ankle pick but Shrew pulls his leg out and moves away.
The fighters circle momentarily. Shrew darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Aoki dodges the punch combination from Shrew.
Shrew sizes up Aoki with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Shrew avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Aoki misses with a two punch combination.
Aoki throws a series of punches but Shrew avoids them all with ease.
Aoki lands a really nice looking cross but Shrew seems unphased.
Shrew keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

The fighters circling - Aoki throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Aoki throws a shot from downtown. Shrew moves away and avoids it.
Aoki throws a nice looking combination but Shrew bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Aoki has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Shrew finds it's way round the side to connect with Aoki's head.

Shrew tries to clinch there but Aoki circles away.

A lazy left from Shrew finds it's target.
Aoki misses with a looping left.
Shrew on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Shrew looks up at the clock. Bad move! Aoki lands a right hand from hell, dropping Shrew. Aoki pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
