PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Mc Auley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gustavo Diaz Ordaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mc Auley gets caught flat footed, as Ordaz shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Mc Auley working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ordaz doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ordaz manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Mc Auley is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ordaz doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mc Auley.

Mc Auley looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ordaz makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Ordaz.

Mc Auley tries to free his leg and advance position but Ordaz is retaining full guard.

Mc Auley drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ordaz manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mc Auley has Ordaz in his guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Ordaz is working Mc Auley over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Mc Auley escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ordaz gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Ordaz is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Mc Auley has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Ordaz is looking to defend but Mc Auley has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Ordaz! Mc Auley pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Ordaz taps out and this one is all over!
