Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Robert Oak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Palmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palmer has chosen Not Now James,we're busy as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robert Oak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roy Palmer!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Jonathan Paton and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oak closes the distance but Palmer moves to the side

and Palmer counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Oak looking for a guillotine here but Palmer defends easily.
Oak not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Oak wants to get back to his feet but Palmer is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Palmer drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Palmer jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Oak makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Oak shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Palmer as he avoids it easily.

Oak gets caught napping as Palmer dives in and scores a takedown. Oak manages to retain guard.

Palmer trying to control but Oak is working from the bottom.
Palmer might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Oak kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Oak keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Palmer is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Oak to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Oak shrugs it off.

Palmer lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Oak is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Oh Oak is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

You get the feeling that Oak really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Palmer throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Oak has his hands clasped together but Palmer breaks the hold and Oak is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Palmer!
