The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trapp swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nielamliwy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nielamliwy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Trapp manages to avoid it.
Nielamliwy throws a low kick but Trapp moves out of range easily.
Nielamliwy throws a right hand that misses
and Trapp counters with a straight right hand.
Trapp scores with a jab. Nielamliwy acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Trapp drops Nielamliwy with a beautiful combination! Nielamliwy stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Trapp is looking for the KO!

It looks like Michal Nielamliwy has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A slow jab from Nielamliwy misses its intended target.
Nielamliwy throws a lazy uppercut
and Trapp counters with a nice kick to the body.

Trapp drops Nielamliwy with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Nielamliwy looks back up at him and smiles so Trapp waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Trapp moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Trapp is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Nielamliwy throws a leg kick that misses.

Trapp has closed the distance and engaged Nielamliwy in a clinch.
Nielamliwy tries a knee to the head but Trapp blocks it.
Nielamliwy wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Trapp manages to pull guard.
Nielamliwy working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Nielamliwy is looking to work some ground and pound but Trapp has wrist control.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Nielamliwy accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Nielamliwy drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Trapp manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Nielamliwy has Trapp in his guard.

Trapp got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nielamliwy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Trapp has managed to get both his arms back between Nielamliwy's legs - danger averted.
Nielamliwy lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Trapp!
Nielamliwy throwing strikes here but Trapp is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Trapp can't escape the position.
