Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Redd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Santino Carolla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Redd's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, We Will Rock You. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Redd.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Redd wants to control but Carolla is keeping him busy.

Redd changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Carolla tries to avoid it but Redd manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Carolla to the ground. Carolla escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jake Redd will probably get the nod.

Redd takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Carolla uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Redd has time to react.

Redd takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Oh Redd is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Redd shoots in and drives through. Carolla sprawls well.
Carolla cracks Redd with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Redd tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Carolla pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Redd is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
