The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rubens misses with a series of wild punches.
Panzanaro fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Rubens on the side of the head.
Panzanaro misses with a looping left.
Piero Panzanaro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Panzanaro throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rubens.
Rubens throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Panzanaro cracks Rubens with an open hand slap.
Panzanaro misses with a two punch combination.
Panzanaro gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Rubens.

Rubens connects with a combination that backs up Panzanaro into the cage. Rubens lands a flurry of punches that gets past Panzanaro's guard. Panzanaro is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Rubens bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
