The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pippin takes a swing at COSMICA's ribcage but misses.
Pippin swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

COSMICA scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Pippin won't allow COSMICA to pass to mount.
COSMICA knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pippin on the ground.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

COSMICA shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

COSMICA is trying to work for a kimura but Pippin is defending well.
Pippin is not content to let COSMICA control the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
COSMICA tries to close the distance and clinch but Pippin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
