Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Wong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryuu Tatsuya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryuu Tatsuya!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tatsuya misses with an uppercut
enabling Wong to counter with a crisp jab.
Tatsuya throws a nice outside leg kick.
Wong waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Tatsuya.

Tatsuya throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Tatsuya throws an overhand right that lands on Wong's shoulder, as Wong tries to avoid the shot.

and Tatsuya counters with a nice low kick that buckles Wong's knee momentarily.

A solid leg kick lands there for Tatsuya.
Wong stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Wong throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Tatsuya scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

and Wong counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Ryuu Tatsuya seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wong checks the leg kick nicely there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tatsuya does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Wong falls off balance throwing a combination
and Tatsuya counters with an inside leg kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tatsuya tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A bone on bone clash there as Wong blocks the leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Wong's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Tatsuya ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Tatsuya looks for the body kick but Wong saw that one coming.
Wong lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Wong throws a lazy right hand but Tatsuya sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Tatsuya walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Wong checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Tatsuya fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wong manages to avoid it.
Tatsuya tries to work over Wong's front leg with a kick but Wong checks it.

Tatsuya throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Tatsuya misses the shot to the body.
The fighters circle momentarily. Wong darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Tatsuya scores with a head kick. Wong tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Wong is rocked!
Tatsuya feints a jab and as Wong dips his head, Tatsuya unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Wong right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Wong falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Tatsuya smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Ryuu Tatsuya!
Ryuu Tatsuya really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that 1337 ANZAC logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
