The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fisher closes this distance looking for a takedown but Escobar circles away.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Fisher. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

The crowd cheers as Escobar lands an impressive looking overhand right. Fisher doesn't seem phased though.
Escobar is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Fisher had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Escobar takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Escobar connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Fisher tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Escobar paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Escobar might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Fisher looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Pablo Escobar decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
