The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stone closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Pluto takes a knee right on the jaw!
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Stone obliges.
Stone lands an elbow that stopped Pluto in his tracks for a moment.

It looks like Bucky Pluto has been cut.
Stone softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Stone lands with a light punch inside.
Stone misses with a knee to the head.
Stone lands a nice shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Come on Stone - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Stone makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Pluto jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Stone walks away with a smile on his face. Pluto gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Stone throws a big shot that misses.
Pluto throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Stone sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Pluto ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Stone avoids a punch combination nicely.
Pluto uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stone.
Stone misses the shot to the body.
Pluto lands a body shot.
Pluto swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Stone clinches up against the cage.
Pluto is trying to force a seperation but Stone has the dominant position.

Pluto blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Stone tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Stone lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Stone gets through Pluto's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Stone effectively controlling the action here.
Pluto goes for a takedown attempt but Stone pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Jacob Stone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bucky Pluto.

Pluto walks into a left hand.

Pluto throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

No joy there for Stone, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A slow jab from Pluto misses its intended target.
Pluto swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Pluto pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Jacob Stone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stone dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Stone fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pluto looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stone misses with a wild combination.
A looping hook to the body misses from Pluto. Stone does a little dance to reset his feet.

Stone keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Stone throws a nice looking combination but Pluto bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Pluto scores with a kick to the midsection.
Stone is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Stone moves out of range of the leg kick from Pluto.
Stone wants to clinch up but Pluto keeps it at a distance.
Stone is looking to wear down Pluto with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Pluto avoids the head kick by Stone.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Pluto fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stone manages to avoid it.
Pluto connects with a looping right hand.

Stone lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Stone avoids the body shot from Pluto.
A slow jab from Pluto misses its intended target.
Pluto takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Stone tries to close the distance and clinch but Pluto swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Pluto cracks Stone with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Stone takes a shot to the body in his stride.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pluto scores with the left hand. Stone knows he should have avoided that one.
Pluto misses the shot to the body.

Stone is looking to clinch but Pluto is avoiding it.
Stone is pawing at Pluto, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Pluto's nose. Pluto is badly hurt! Stone pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Pluto tries desperately to hold on but Stone is relentless in his assault! As Pluto receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Stone away and this one is in the books!
