Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Andrea Capac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Encarnacao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Encarnacao will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Encarnacao dives in and scores a takedown into Capac's guard.

Capac has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Encarnacao is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Capac.

Capac isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Encarnacao stacks Capac on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Encarnacao!

Encarnacao throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Capac tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Encarnacao is in Capac's guard.

Capac has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Encarnacao can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Encarnacao takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Encarnacao is looking to take a break and control but Capac is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Encarnacao connects with a nice short shot to Capac's temple.

Encarnacao stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Capac swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Encarnacao is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Capac can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Capac is bucking up trying to escape but Encarnacao cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Well Encarnacao has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
