The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Verrus misses.
Elliot throws a lazy right hand but Verrus sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Verrus looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Elliot avoids a punch combination nicely.

Verrus scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Verrus moves into full mount! Elliot won't be happy about that!
Verrus has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Elliot's face.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Verrus! Elliot is hurt baaadly! Verrus is firing away with more strikes - Elliot is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
