The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coleman Jr doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Nakahara counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Nakahara!

Coleman Jr misses with a takedown
and Nakahara counters with a low kick, right behind Coleman Jr 's knee.
Coleman Jr swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Coleman Jr closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Nakahara fails with an attempt to clinch.
Nakahara scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Nakahara keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Coleman Jr looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Shinichae Nakahara has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Coleman Jr.
Coleman Jr shoots in and drives through. Nakahara sprawls well.

and Nakahara counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Nakahara forces Coleman Jr back against the cage and clinches.

Nakahara escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nakahara tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Coleman Jr manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Nakahara instigates a clinch.
Coleman Jr has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Nakahara is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Nakahara crunches a lovely knee into Coleman Jr's ribcage.

Coleman Jr has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Nakahara avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Nakahara manages to break the clinch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Coleman Jr.
Coleman Jr takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Nakahara moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Nakahara throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Coleman Jr shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Nakahara napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Coleman Jr is trying to get an arm triangle but Nakahara is defending well.
Nakahara wants to control but Coleman Jr postures up.

Coleman Jr is working to tighten is grip on Nakahara's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Nakahara has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Coleman Jr is really squeezing tight and eventually Nakahara passes out! Coleman Jr breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
