The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atom tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rowles swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Horrible takedown by Atom or perhaps it was just good defense by Rowles which made him look bad.

Atom changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rowles tries to avoid it but Atom manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rowles to the ground. Rowles escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Rowles throws a left that rocks Atom and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Rowles dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Atom regain composure!

It looks like Adam Atom has been cut.
Rowles scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Atom is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Rowles can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
