The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perez looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Perez moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
A telegraphed right hand from Sevenson misses the target.
Sevenson lands a nice shot to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sevenson scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Sevenson throws out a powerful jab.
Sevenson cracks Perez with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Sevenson has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Perez to stand back up!
Perez is rocked!
Sevenson throws a right and a left that Perez avoids nicely.
Sven Sevenson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Sevenson lands a body shot.
Perez is breathing heavily.
Sevenson lands a left and a right that send Perez crashing to the mat, dazed. Sevenson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Oh Perez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sevenson measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Perez! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
