The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo throws a series of punches but Takamoto moves out of range.
Aldo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Takamoto fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Aldo tries to clinch up but Takamoto circles away and keeps his distance.
No luck for Takamoto with that takedown attempt.
Nice sprawl there from Aldo as Takamoto shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Seichi Takamoto. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Takamoto changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Aldo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Aldo is trying to get back to half guard.
Takamoto looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Takamoto has hold of Aldo's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Aldo seems comfortable defending it but Takamoto has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Aldo is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Aldo is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Takamoto couldn't care less - he's delighted!
