The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee misses with a wild body shot.

Lee tries to bum rush Rivers with a series of wild strikes but Rivers uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rivers throws a hook but Lee avoids it easily.

Rivers stalks Lee and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Lee's face. Lee staggers backwards, shaken.
Lee wants to slow Rivers down by chopping away at his legs.

Lee has Rivers pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Lee pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Rivers tumbling to the mat - Lee dives into Rivers's guard.
Rivers has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Lee is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Lee fails to land with a series of punches.
Lee rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rivers moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Lee throws a nice looking combination but Rivers bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Eric Lee dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Rivers missing with a left hand there. Lee was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Rivers ducks right into an uppercut from Lee.
Rivers ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lee moves away.
Rivers slips a jab and a cross from Lee.
Lee stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lee wants it to stay on the feet.

Lee throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Rivers tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lee is in Rivers's guard.
Rivers has his hands on Lee's head, controlling the position.
Lee wants to control from the top but Rivers keeps moving.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lee pushes down on Rivers's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Lee throws a shot from downtown. Rivers moves away and avoids it.
Rivers looks to land a combination but Lee avoids it well.

Rivers gets tackled into the cage by Lee. Lee maintains the clinch.
Lee has a couple of punches blocked by Rivers.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Lee creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Lee drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Lee's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Lee tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lee slips a straight right by Rivers.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eric Lee dominated that second round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Rivers seems frustrated at his inability to get double underhooks.
Rivers takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Lee gets underhooks to prevent Rivers's takedown attempt.

Lee lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Lee lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Rivers backwards.

Lee has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Rivers clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Rivers is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Lee.

Rivers is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Lee gets his way!

Eric Lee is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Rivers rolls, trying to escape but Lee keeps control of the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lee has the hooks in. Rivers is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Lee is trying to stick to Rivers's back but Rivers is turning into Lee. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Lee's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Rivers.
Eric Lee overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
