Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Robert Wiltsie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Estefan Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wiltsie comes to the cage accompanied by Mein Herz Brennt. Sanchez comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Tyga- Maybe kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Robert Wiltsie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Estefan Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez with a lazy takedown attempt
and Wiltsie counters with a stiff right hand.
Wiltsie lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Sanchez at a distance.
Sanchez misses with a takedown attempt
and Wiltsie makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Sanchez really felt that one!

Robert Wiltsie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Estefan Sanchez.

and Wiltsie counters with a good low kick that Sanchez was not able to check.
Wiltsie throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Sanchez has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Wiltsie avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Wiltsie lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Wiltsie has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Sanchez regains guard immediately.
Sanchez looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wiltsie is one step ahead there.

Sanchez is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Wiltsie defends well.
Wiltsie controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Sanchez is working an open guard so Wiltsie takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Sanchez looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Wiltsie has picked Sanchez up and slammed him! Sanchez can't keep hold of the triangle and Wiltsie manages to pass to side control!

Wiltsie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Sanchez has escaped the position, nice work there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wiltsie happy to just control the position for now.
Sanchez is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Wiltsie is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sanchez knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Wiltsie is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Sanchez will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Sanchez is looking to regain half guard here but Wiltsie keeps moving and retains side control.

Sanchez is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Wiltsie is staying active.

Sanchez is trying desperately to improve position.

Sanchez tries to lock up and control but Wiltsie gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Wiltsie tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sanchez is in all sorts of trouble here.
Wiltsie looking to control and managing it successfully.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sanchez is looking to get to half guard.

Wiltsie is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Sanchez can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Wiltsie pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Sanchez is trying desperately to improve position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sanchez drops down looking for an ankle pick but Wiltsie pulls his leg out and moves away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Robert Wiltsie just wasn't active enough.
