Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Garcia Vega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zekariays Solomon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 5 - 1, fighting out of New York, Garcia Vega!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zekariays Solomon!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Franklyn Lucas and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vega on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Solomon throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Vega tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Solomon is in Vega's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Solomon controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Vega looking to hit a scissor sweep but Solomon is one step ahead there.
Solomon distracts Vega with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Solomon is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Vega is wriggling around but Solomon manages to pass to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vega wants to get back to his feet.
Solomon thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Vega's head.
Vega blocking the ground and pound attempt from Solomon.
Solomon performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

Solomon throwing shots but Vega is blocking nicely.
Vega tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Solomon manages to move to mount!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Solomon has control of Vega's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Vega regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Solomon lands a heavy elbow.

Vega wants to control but Solomon is having none of it.
Vega is in a horrible position here. Solomon smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Solomon pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Vega is rocked!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Vega takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Solomon's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

Zekariays Solomon was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
