Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Scott Beauvais!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, CJ Longlee!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beauvais tries to clinch up

and Longlee counters by moving into the clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Longlee avoiding damage.

Longlee successfully pulls guard.
Beauvais wants to control from the top but Longlee keeps moving.
Longlee controlling Beauvais's posture.
Beauvais wants to stand but Longlee is controlling his posture from full guard.

Longlee is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Longlee keeping moving, preventing Beauvais from controlling successfully.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Scott Beauvais just wasn't active enough.
Longlee misses with a hook
and Beauvais counters with a stiff right hand.

Beauvais gets tackled into the cage by Longlee. Longlee maintains the clinch.

Longlee wants to stand but Beauvais has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Beauvais stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Beauvais wants it to stay on the feet.

Longlee shoots in looking for a takedown but Beauvais manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Longlee's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Longlee seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Beauvais has recovered full guard.
Longlee looking to sit in guard and control but Beauvais gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Longlee shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Beauvais as he jumps to the side.
Beauvais throws a sloppy head kick and Longlee moves out of range easily.
Beauvais tries to clinch up but Longlee circles away and keeps his distance.
Longlee throws a body punch but Beauvais moves out of range.
Longlee closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Longlee decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Longlee is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Longlee seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Beauvais does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Longlee takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Longlee seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Beauvais is defending against the submission attempts here by Longlee.

Beauvais feints a jab promting Longlee to slip. Beauvais then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Longlee slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Longlee swats away the attempt to clinch by Beauvais.
Beauvais tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Longlee keeps the fight on the outside.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Beauvais pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Longlee moves out of range of the body kick from Beauvais.
Longlee is looking to clinch but Beauvais is avoiding it.

And that's the end of the fight!
Scott Beauvais showed his dominance in that final round.
