Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vicente Otubro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxim Selov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Otubro comes to the cage accompanied by Smthng 2 Die 4. Maxim Selov will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Otubro closes the distance and pushes Selov back into the cage.

Otubro walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Selov throws a right hand that Otubro ducks under and follows up with a left that Otubro also avoids with ease.

Otubro bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Selov tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Otubro wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Selov throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.

Otubro throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Selov has his hands clasped together but Otubro breaks the hold and Selov is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Otubro!

Vicente Otubro decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
