The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Komov fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Knox dives in and grabs Komov's left leg, looking for a takedown. Komov pushes down on Knox's head and hops out.
Komov lunges at Knox with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Knox's hand.
Knox takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Knox keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Knox tests Komov's chin there with a solid looking shot.
It looks like Vladimir Komov has been cut.
Knox throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Komov's waist but Komov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Knox off to one side.
Knox is trying hard to land a takedown here. Komov sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Knox looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Komov swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Komov displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Knox.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Komov takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Komov throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Horrible takedown by Knox or perhaps it was just good defense by Komov which made him look bad.

Knox fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Komov avoids it really well and circles away.

Komov feints and then cracks Knox's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Knox down.
Knox is breathing heavily.

Knox tries to clinch but Komov is having none of it.
Komov has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Komov throws an uppercut from hell that sends Knox clean off his feet! He's out cold! Komov stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
