The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbosa shoots for a takedown but Wrzeszczycki saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Wrzeszczycki misses the shot to the body.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Wrzeszczycki, as that shot connected.
Wrzeszczycki throws a hook to the side of Barbosa's head but Barbosa sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Barbosa is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Wrzeszczycki has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Barbosa is working for a guillotine from mount but Wrzeszczycki frees his head quite easily.
Wrzeszczycki is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Barbosa is looking to work his way around to Wrzeszczycki's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Barbosa gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Wrzeszczycki throws a quick head kick that knocks Barbosa silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Wrzeszczycki is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
