The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gresham rushes Sprockit Jr and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Gresham is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Sprockit Jr can't fight it off and eventually Gresham manages to take the fight to the floor. Sprockit Jr looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Gresham avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Sprockit Jr is looking for a triangle here but Gresham uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Gresham decides to stand up, so the ref orders Sprockit Jr to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gresham turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Gresham manages to end up in side control.

You can see the frustration on Sprockit Jr's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Gresham is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Sprockit Jr defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Sprockit Jr is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gresham is just riding it out for now. Sprockit Jr eventually gives up the hold.

Gresham has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Sprockit Jr clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Well Gresham has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
