Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johny Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jakub Karet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Karet's choice of entrance music: Ill Bill - My Uncle Shoots Heroin. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bravo tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Karet counters with a good, hard body kick but Bravo shrugs it off.
Bravo avoids the head kick by Karet.
Karet wants to clinch but Bravo slips to the side
and Bravo counters with a head kick.

Bravo has taken the fight to the clinch.
Karet on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Karet lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bravo avoids a wild elbow strike from Karet.
Karet lands a damaging elbow.


It looks like Johny Bravo has been cut.
A bit of stalling here from Karet.
Karet misses with an elbow over the top.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Bravo is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Karet is defending well for now.

Bravo throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Karet blocks it with crossed arms.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Karet misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bravo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bravo throws a nice inside leg kick.

Karet pushes Bravo up against the cage in a clinch.
Bravo landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Karet's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Bravo lands a knee to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jakub Karet dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Ouch! a nice leg kick from Karet, right into the meat.

Bravo darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Bravo is stalling here. Karet is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Bravo seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Karet has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Karet throws a strike aimed at the side of Bravo's head but Bravo avoids it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bravo is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Karet's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Karet seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Karet is looking to stall here but Bravo recovers full guard.
Bravo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Karet manages to get himself to full guard.
Bravo trying to control but Karet is working from the bottom.

Karet has his feet on Bravo's thighs here. He's pushed Bravo off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Bravo screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
