PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Giles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jenji Ueda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ueda is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Requiem for a Dream. John Giles is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giles bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Giles tries to clinch there but Ueda circles away.
Ueda throws a head kick but Giles moves out of range.
Ueda fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Giles.
Giles connects with a right hand. Ueda shakes it off.

Giles closes the distance and clinches.
Giles is trying to break free.
Ueda tries to land knees in the clinch but Giles avoids the damage to the body.
Giles is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Ueda tries for a takedown but Giles manages to get underhooks.
Ueda lands an elbow inside that Giles shrugs off.

Giles is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ueda doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Giles.

Giles moves in looking to clinch but Ueda pushes him off.

Giles tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Ueda paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Ueda throws a nice looking combination but Giles bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Giles has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
John Giles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Giles lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Giles sizes up Ueda with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
