The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Dela Cruz looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Dela Cruz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jorgensen's waist but Jorgensen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dela Cruz off to one side.
Jorgensen shoots in looking for a takedown but Dela Cruz manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jorgensen's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Dela Cruz lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Jorgensen is nestled in close to Dela Cruz, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
