Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Godley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer throws a leg kick which misses Godley's front leg but catches the back leg as Godley tries to avoid it.
Godley fails with the takedown
and Hammer counters with a big head kick but Godley shrugs it off.

Hammer clinches.
Hammer misses with a knee strike.
Godley is working for takedown but Hammer is calmly controlling the position for now.
Hammer landing knees to the body.
Godley is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hammer lands a hook that snaps the head of Godley backwards.

Godley escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hammer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Hammer drops back looking for a leg! Godley is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Godley manages to kick Hammer off! Hammer jumps back into Godley's guard.

Hammer moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Godley has worked his arm free - good work by Godley!
Godley is looking for a sweep.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hammer tries to advance to mount but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
A nice right hand lands inside from Hammer.

Godley might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Hammer is trying to control. Godley wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Hammer takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hammer lands a nice short elbow.

Hammer is working for a submission of some sort.

Hammer is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Hammer is looking for a kimura but Godley is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hammer to get the leverage.

Hammer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Hammer has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Godley to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Hammer is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Godley pulls down on the head and he's put Hammer to sleep! This one is all over!
