The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hashisha cracks Venture with a good jab.

It looks like Hank Venture has been cut.
Hashisha displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Venture throws out the jab.

Venture tries to clinch but Hashisha moves out of range.
Hashisha motions for Venture to come forward. Hashisha throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Hashisha swings for the body but Venture moves out of range.

and Hashisha counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Hashisha cracks Venture with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

and Venture counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

and Hashisha counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Hashisha swings for the body but Venture moves out of range.

Venture's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hashisha connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Venture scrambles back to his feet.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hashisha throws a hook but Venture avoids it easily.
Hashisha takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Venture slips a straight right by Hashisha.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters circling a little - Hashisha finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Hashisha tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Venture was well out of range. Poor timing from Hashisha.
Venture throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Hashisha counters with a crisp right hand that drops Venture! Hashisha lets Venture back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Venture is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hashisha ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Venture moves away.
Hashisha jabs at Venture's body.
Ignatious Hashisha seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Hashisha drops Venture with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Venture looks back up at him and smiles so Hashisha waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Venture is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Hank Venture's cut is getting worse.
Hashisha cracks a nice hook into Venture's ribs.
Venture seems to have got his legs back now.
Hashisha lands an uppercut, right on the button! Venture tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.

After the fight, Ignatious Hashisha was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
