PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Miquel Prado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Kerensky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Prado comes into the arena with Top Gun - Highway to the Dangerzone blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Alexander Kerensky!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prado throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kerensky throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Prado sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A jab from Kerensky misses.
Kerensky tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Prado was well out of range. Poor timing from Kerensky.
Prado lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kerensky circles away quickly and effectively.
Kerensky throws a big shot that misses.
Kerensky scores with a jab to the head.
Kerensky takes a swing at Prado's ribcage but misses.
Kerensky just misses with a punch to the body.
Prado throws a nice looking combination but Kerensky bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kerensky clobbers Prado with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Prado is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kerensky.

Prado feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Alexander Kerensky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kerensky is staying active underneath Prado, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Kerensky is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Miquel Prado will probably get the nod.

I would just about give that final round to Alexander Kerensky.

A very excited looking Alexander Kerensky rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
