PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Pickel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rex The Stoner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Stoner has chosen Rebirth of Slick as his entrance music. Rex The Stoner will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Stoner displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Pickel throws out the jab.
Pickel keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Pickel throws a series of punches but The Stoner avoids them all with ease.

The Stoner closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Pickel postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! The Stoner is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Pickel, into his guard.

Pickel has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing The Stoner to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Pickel is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - The Stoner pulls down on the head and he's put Pickel to sleep! This one is all over!
