Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Manvel Gamburyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Willis McGenessy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gamburyan's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Gamburyan vs. Brown on April 24th. The crowd seem to be enjoying McGenessy's choice of entrance music: Punch Out!!!. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGenessy misses with a two punch combination.
Gamburyan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Gamburyan is trying hard to land a takedown here. McGenessy sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Gamburyan drives through with a takedown into McGenessy's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Gamburyan closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Gamburyan is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down McGenessy's shoulder. That is not cool.
Gamburyan lands some shots froms side control.

Gamburyan is staying tight to McGenessy's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Gamburyan thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

McGenessy tries to escape but Gamburyan is in control.
Gamburyan tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Gamburyan is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. McGenessy looks calm but he's in trouble here. Gamburyan gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. McGenessy is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Gamburyan lets go of the hold and McGenessy can pop his arm back in it's socket.
