Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jason Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Rosillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Young comes to the cage accompanied by me so honry. Rosillo is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Skillet - Hero. Juan Rosillo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jason Young!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Juan Rosillo!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, David Schapiro and Franklyn Lucas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Rosillo.

Young closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Young lands in his opponent's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Rosillo has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Young off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Young rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rosillo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Young tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rosillo was well out of range. Poor timing from Young.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Young ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rosillo moves away.
Rosillo pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Rosillo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rosillo stuffs the takedown attempt from Young. Young gets slowly back to his feet.

and Young counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Rosillo pushes Young off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Young's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Rosillo connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Young scrambles back to his feet.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jason Young.
Well Young has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
