These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernandez blocks a head kick by Arthur.
Hernandez throws a leg kick
enabling Arthur to counter with a crisp jab.
Arthur looks to land a right hand but Hernandez moved out of range.

Arthur fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hernandez, pushing him back against the cage.

Arthur tries a knee to the head but Hernandez blocks it.
Arthur misses with a knee strike.

Arthur has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head and Hernandez goes down! Arthur dives on top of him - Hernandez manages to get guard.

Hernandez is rocked!

It looks like Javier Hernandez has been cut.
Arthur is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Hernandez is still in real trouble! Can Arthur finish him?

Arthur gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Arthur gets a clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Arthur tries a knee to the head but Hernandez blocks it.

Arthur breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Arthur drives through and clinches with Hernandez against the cage.
Hernandez seems to have recovered his senses.

The referee calls for Arthur to work.
Hernandez is trying to maintain a safe position but Arthur gets an underhook and turns Hernandez into the cage.
Arthur throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Hernandez blocks it with crossed arms.

Arthur stands up.
Hernandez slips a jab and a cross from Arthur.

Arthur closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Hernandez tries to stall but Arthur uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Arthur lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Arthur manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
