PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Danny Cattermole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liam Machin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liam Machin told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Danny Cattermole!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Liam Machin!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machin scores with a shot to the body.
Cattermole throws a head kick but Machin moves out of range.
Machin feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Cattermoles jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Cattermole tries to close the distance and clinch but Machin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Machin fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Cattermole dives in and grabs Machin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Machin pushes down on Cattermole's head and hops out.

Cattermole clinches with his opponent.

Cattermole's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Cattermole has a takedown stuffed.

Machin tests Cattermole's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Machin throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Cattermole colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Machin as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Cattermole is left battered and dazed whilst Machin and his camp cheer!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Liam Machin!
Post fight, Liam Machin stared into the camera and said 'If you're stupid enough to get into the cgae with me then expect a beating......'.
