Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wea Sel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Pettis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Pettis.
Sel misses with a kick to the body.
Sel throws a leg kick that is checked

and Pettis counters with a takedown into side control.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Sel is trying to improve his position.
Pettis throws an elbow but Sel slips to the side and avoids it well.
Pettis sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Sel is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Sel is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Pettis off and has taken his back!

Sel is looking for the choke from the back position but Pettis is controlling his hands well.

Pettis has left one of his arms exposed and Sel doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Pettis screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
