Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Enos Erikson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Schofield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schofield has chosen Linkin Park : The Catalyst as his entrance music. Shane Schofield told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schofield shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Erikson is trying to defend but Schofield finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Schofield seems to be looking for submissions.
Erikson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Schofield's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Schofield's back!
