The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown tries a head kick but it misses.
Smith avoids the head kick by Brown.
Brown with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Brown shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Smith's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Brown stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Smith has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Brown manages to get his head free but now Smith has transitioned to an armbar! Brown grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Smith! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
