Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Felipe Paraventi and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva clinches with his opponent.
Silva wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Machida with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Silva is trying to break free.
Machida tries a knee to the head but Silva blocks it.
Machida using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Silva has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Silva is trying to break the clinch but Machida has him pressed against the cage.
Silva wants to get back to striking at distance but Machida won't allow it.
Machida with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Machida keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Silva's efforts to push away.
Silva wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Machida prevents Silva from breaking the clinch.

Silva wants to break the clinch but can't.
A frustrated look appears on Silva's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Silva is looking to break free of the clinch but Machida has double underhooks.
Machida tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Machida has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Silva is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Machida tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Castiel Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lyoto Machida.
Machida tries to land a knee to the head but Silva blocks with his arms.
Machida drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Silva gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Machida fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Silva has Machida pressed against the cage, preventing Machida from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Silva breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Machida tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Silva manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Silva takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Silva moves into range and clinches up with Machida.
Silva is trying to break free.
Machida tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Silva smiles and moves away.
Silva has taken the fight to the clinch.
Machida manages to pull guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Silva gets to his feet. Machida looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Silva throws a right and a left that Machida avoids nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Machida looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Silva lands with a straight right. Machida didn't see that one coming.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Silva lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Machida falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Castiel Silva!
