Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blayne Hawke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, With You - Linkin Park. Hawke has chosen Send the Pain Below as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Royce Gracie has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Royce Gracie seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawke misses with a wild combination.
Hawke throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gracie defending well as Hawke loads up on a big left hand.
Horrible takedown by Gracie or perhaps it was just good defense by Hawke which made him look bad.
Gracie fails with the takedown.
Royce Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hawke slaps away a takedown attempt from Gracie, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Royce Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hawke but Hawke pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Gracie moves out of range of the leg kick from Hawke.
Gracie tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hawke swivels and escapes.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hawke misses with a head kick.
Gracie fails to land the takedown.
Hawke misses with a straight left.
Hawke tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Gracie is able to avoid easily.
Hawke stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hawke wants it to stay on the feet.
Hawke throws a head kick but Gracie moves out of range.
Blayne Hawke is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hawke misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gracie.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Hawke shows good takedown defense.

Gracie fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hawke to the ground. Gracie is now in Hawke's guard.

Gracie had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hawke defends it easily.
Gracie utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gracie is looking for a triangle but Hawke pushes his legs off easily.

Gracie has his foot on Hawke's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hawke works his way back into a safe position though.
Gracie controls Hawke momentarily but Hawke frees himself.
Hawke stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gracie swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Gracie has a closed guard, preventing Hawke from standing up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hawke wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving.

Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hawke gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Gracie has an active guard here but Hawke has managed to pass into half guard.

Gracie has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Hawke. Oh but Gracie has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Hawke goes limp - he's gone! Gracie jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
