Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gorn Bicki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robin Convents (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Convents.
Convents tries to clinch up
and Bicki counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Convents throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Convents circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bicki throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Convents stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Bicki gets tackled into the cage by Convents. Convents maintains the clinch.
Convents slows down the pace here.

Convents has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Bicki is trying to keep an underhook but Convents manages to get the takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Bicki is not content to let Convents control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Convents is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bicki sees it coming and defends easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bicki regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Convents.
Bicki can't keep his opponent in guard - Convents advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Convents thows a huge punch but Bicki dodges it nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Convents is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Convents missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Convents prevents Bicki from improving his position.

Convents is trying to control. Bicki wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Convents has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Convents fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Bicki has left one of his arms exposed and Convents doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Bicki screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
