The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nascimento paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nascimento looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Alvarez just misses with a punch to the body.
Nascimento throws a series of punches but Alvarez moves out of range.

Alvarez lands a big head kick that sends Nascimento tumbling to the mat! Alvarez takes a step backwards and waves Nascimento back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Roberto Nascimento has been cut.
Alvarez lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Nascimento crumples to the floor! Alvarez milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
