Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonny Victorio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pekka Lipponen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Victorio comes to the cage accompanied by Massive Attack - Angel. Lipponen comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rainbow - Man on the Silver Mountain kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lipponen throws a shot from downtown. Victorio moves away and avoids it.
Victorio misses the shot to the body.
Lipponen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Victorio paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Victorio misses with a low kick.
Victorio is looking to slow Lipponen down with leg kicks.
Victorio lands the left hand.

It looks like Pekka Lipponen has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A slapping leg kick lands for Victorio.
Victorio connects with a leg kick. Lipponen looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Some bone on bone action there as Lipponen checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Lipponen checks a leg kick nicely.
Lipponen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Victorio moves out of range of the body kick from Lipponen.

Victorio motions for Lipponen to come forward. Victorio throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Lipponen checks the leg kick nicely there.
Victorio throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Lipponen misses the shot to the body.
Victorio throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Lipponen ducks under a wild hook from Victorio.
Lipponen throws a half hearted mid kick.
Horrible takedown by Lipponen or perhaps it was just good defense by Victorio which made him look bad.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lipponen throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Victorio connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

That has opened up Pekka Lipponen's cut even more.

A slapping leg kick lands for Victorio.

Lipponen on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Victorio cracks Lipponen with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Lipponen looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Victorio finish him?

The cut above Pekka Lipponen's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Victorio connects with a solid leg kick.
Victorio throws a nice looking combination but Lipponen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Victorio jabs Lipponen to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Victorio lands a big uppercut and Lipponen crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Lipponen looks OK. Victorio waves Lipponen back to his feet!

Lipponen is rocked!
Lipponen takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Lipponen is still on wobbly legs! Can Victorio finish him?
Victorio throws a leg kick which misses Lipponen's front leg but catches the back leg as Lipponen tries to avoid it.
Lipponen seems to have recovered his senses.
Victorio connects with a leg kick. Lipponen looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Victorio fakes the body blow, causing Lipponen to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Lipponen goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

Jonny Victorio very nearly forgot to thank Perkele! amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
