The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bad stuffs the takedown.
Bad fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bad shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jones walks into a stiff left hand from Bad.
Donk. Jones catches Bad right on the button with a cross.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bad is defended easily by Jones.

Jones shoots in looking for a takedown but Bad manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jones's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Jones wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Jones is trying to maintain a safe position but Bad gets an underhook and turns Jones into the cage.

Bad stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bad trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bad stops Jones from standing up.
Bad is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Denisov Bad was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Jones closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Jones tries to score a body lock takedown but Bad shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Bad jumps guard but Jones stands there with Bad around his waist. Bad gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bad gets tackled into the cage by Jones. Jones maintains the clinch.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Denisov Bad has got the better of the ground game so far.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jones isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Bad stacks Jones on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Bad!
Bad decides to stand up, so the ref orders Jones to his feet.
