The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

obrien feints and as Beery raises his hands in defense, obrien changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

obrien gets to his feet - Beery follows without any prompting.
Beery circles away from the clinch attempt.
Beery misses with the combination.
Beery is breathing heavily.
obrien tries to clinch but Beery moves out of range.
obrien keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Beery.
obrien lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
obrien fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Beery misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

obrien gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Beery has obrien pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. obrien manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
obrien is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Beery gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
obrien is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Beery is keeping busy.

obrien turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

obrien has hold of Beery's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Beery tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - obrien cranks the arm and Beery screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Beery, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
