Johnson has chosen Enter Sandman by Metallica as his entrance music. Marcus Ulpius Traianus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Johnson throws the left hand but Traianus avoids the punch easily.
Traianus throws a right and a left that Johnson avoids nicely.
Traianus throws a leg kick but Johnson sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Johnson lands a nice shot to the body.
Traianus moves in looking to clinch but Johnson pushes him off.
Traianus throws an overhand right that lands on Johnson's shoulder, as Johnson tries to avoid the shot.
Johnson dips to his left and cracks Traianus with an uppercut!

It looks like Marcus Ulpius Traianus has been cut.
Johnson digs a good hook to Traianus's body.

Johnson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Traianus got a little sloppy there for a moment and Johnson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Traianus has managed to get both his arms back between Johnson's legs - danger averted.

Johnson feints and as Traianus raises his hands in defense, Johnson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Johnson shoots in for a takedown but Traianus shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Johnson works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
